2008 Rockin' Battle of Bands Entry

Event Date: Thursday, August 14th, 2008 - 7:30pm

Location: KRFO/KAT Kountry Stage

General Information:
•	Bands will be allowed to play from 15 to 30 minutes depending on number of entries. The event will be held at the KRFO Stage.
•	The Band Contact will be sent information regarding entry to the site.
•	The area of performance is large enough so that bands can set up while another is performing.
•	A first place winner in each division will be selected by a panel of judges.
•	The first place winner in each division can compete in the SCFF Amateur Talent contest in Fair Square Park on -- Sunday, August 17 at 3:45.
•	Audience members will also have a chance to vote by ballot for the “People’s Choice” band to be selected from all bands performing. This band, if different from division first place winners, can also enter the SCFF Amateur Talent Show. No rock bands will be allowed direct entry into the SCFF Amateur Talent Contest. Only first place winners and the "People’s Choice" winner will be entered into the talent contest.
•	All lyrics and actions by band members must be in good taste.
•	Steele County Free Fair personnel reserve the right to exclude a song or band if it is determined to be in bad taste for a general audience.
•	All bands must originate in Steele County.
